Show Three Olives Your "O-Face" and Win!
We just got wind of an interesting contest from Three Olives Vodka, the makers of all kinds of vodkas, flavored and non. All you have to do is show them the O-face you get from drinking their product (check out the original O-face moment if you need inspiration), and you have a chance to win a pretty cool prize. What's the prize, you ask?
How does $10,000 and a VIP trip to NYC to be the national face of their O-face campaign grab you? Yeah, we thought so. You can enter at their O-face contest page and see other entries as well. If you need more details, you methodical mofos, check out the full press release after the jump.

Dirty Sue Cocktail Competition
We first learned about Dirty Sue a while back, and we were pretty impressed with the concept of an olive brine designed solely for mixing drinks. For one thing, we're keen on the idea of using something the bartender's fingers haven't been in to fish out olives. For two things...well, the first thing is probably enough - we're fans of the fact our martinis can be filthy without containing any actual filth.
We were reintroduced to the concept of the stuff by a post by Jeffrey Morgenthaler about a contest he's judging for Dirty Sue, where you just have to submit a cocktail recipe featuring at least 1/4 ounce of the stuff. All entries have to be in by March 22, so you'd better get cracking, because the prizes are pretty damn cool. More info at the link above.

America's Hottest Bartenders Mark 2
We've been waiting like kids on Christmas morning for the second installment of AOL's "America's Hottest Bartenders" contest, and it's finally here. Choose among bartenders from your town or in others, and the main prerequisite is they be hot. We can get behind that.
We chose Tara for the pic because among all the Boston bartenders shown, she seemed to be the only one actually holding booze instead of just presenting from the rear. Go Tara.

Smirnoff Urban Lifestyle Specialist Contest
We just got a press release about an Urban Lifestyle Specialist contest from Smirnoff, and to be honest, before reading it we wouldn't have been able to tell you what an Urban Lifestyle Specialist is. We probably would've said they're the folks who teach 50 Cent to shoot people, or consult with Puffy/Puff Daddy/P Diddy on his monthly name change.
Now that we've read the release, apparently the ULS contest has something to do with sending 10 people all over the world for a year to "retrace the worldwide journey of the Smirnoff brand." It's got all kinds of buzzwords about how those ULSs will use blog and video and photograph and fingerpaint about their journey. We have to admit, it got us excited about the contest and what being a ULS might be.
We're fully ready to sign up and we really think we're perfect for the Smirnoff Ten; find out more in the press release below or head to Smirnoff.com to throw your hat in the ring.

Who Should be the Thrillist Winerack Beta Tester?
Last week, we told you about The Winerack, the bosom-friendly alcohol-smuggling device for the ladies, from the makers of The Beerbelly. We'd heard rumors of it, but we got confirmation through Thrillist that it was ready to go into production and it is truly the real deal.
Apparently, those lucky bastards over at Thrillist are getting their hands on a Winerack of their very own, and they're searching for women to be the very first model. The candidates have already been chosen, but you can check out the ladies in the running and cast your vote on who you see most deserving of this grand honor. We're not going to tell you who to vote for, but we think you can piece together who our favorite is by looking really hard at this story.
Vote early, and vote often, and soon you'll be able to see the most popular model sporting the Winerack. (Actually, you can't vote often - it's only once per IP address, but you know what we mean).

Toast Me, I'm Irish
St. Patrick's day is on the horizon, friends, and you know what they say - everybody's Irish on that day. Kevin over at The Scotch Blog has gone Irish for the entire month of March, and he's holding a competition where you can send in your favorite Irish toast in honor of the holiday.
Sounds like it can be an old chestnut, or something you've minted yourself, but make sure to get it to him by noon on Friday (details below). Just remember, the Irish are known for their wit, their wisdom, their blarney, and well...their drinking.
Oh, and Kevin did you say something about a prize?
And Yes...there will be a special prize (courtesy of Old Bushmill's distillery) for the best submission.
Get yours in as soon as possible, but no later than Friday at Noon EST (GMT - 5)
Winner to be announced Friday at 6 pm EST (GMT - 5) (just in time for St. Patrick's Day).
Submit via comments and/or email.

Roll'em Show'em Contest and Giveaway
Last week we reviewed Roll'em Show'em, a drinking game designed to get you messed up and nekkid. We think it's a damn good idea for a game and more people should play it. We just so happen to have gotten our hands on an extra copy of the game (completely sealed and unopened; a $39.95 value), as well as a Roll'em Show'em t-shirt (priceless). We were going to be greedy and give it to our parents as their anniversary gift, but then we had a brainstorm - let's give 'em away to our loyal readers!
All you have to do is come up with a list of the people you'd want to play the game with - living, dead, real or fictional - and email us at news at liquorsnob dot com. First prize is the game itself, runner up gets the shirt - you have two weeks from today to enter. Our personal list is Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johansson, Tyra Banks, and Carlos Mencia the Swedish drinking team from Beerfest. What's yours?

Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition
We've heard of people designing their own cocktail recipes before, but this is a new one - Bombay Sapphire Gin is running a contest where you can design your own cocktail glass. Pretty cool, and we're pretty fired up about this kind of thing after we covered Bong Vodka's bottle art contest earlier this year.
The Top 10 finalists seem to have already been chosen for 2006, but you're just in time to start honing your glass-blowing skills for 2007. Plus, don't worry if you don't have much experience. Just look what you have to live up to - the 2005 winner (pictured) looks more like a protective cup than a cocktail glass so apparently all you need is a love of gin (and maybe a fifth inside you). Oh, and there are some pretty cool prizes you can win, including Apple gift certificates, which you'll see in the press release after the jump.

Win a T-Shirt, Shotgun 2.0 Keys from Shotgun Party
It's suddenly dawned on us that we don't give away nearly enough free stuff here, so we've decided to change all that by having our very first contest. The prize? We've gotten our hands on an excellent Shotgun Party t-shirt, plus 10 shotgun 2.0 keys from our own personal stash, for you to share with your friends.
"OK," you're saying, "so shut up already and tell me how I win!" It's simple - just sign up for our mailing list by April 15th. All in all, the prize package is worth around $50, plus you'll be able to lord your party god status over your friends. [Update: The winner will be randomly drawn from our mailing list. We thought it was self-explanatory, but people have been asking.]
And don't worry, if you're already on the list, you're eligible for the prize - but make sure to tell your friends to sign up, in hopes that they'll be grateful enough to share the gift of beer shotgunning. You've only got two weeks, so sign up now and in April you'll be the party king, sporting the shotgun threads and giving the gift of rapid-rate beer consumption to your loyal subjects.
If you need more information, check out our review of the Shotgun 2.0 beer opener, and head on over to ShotgunParty.com to check out their products and see what they have to say.
