Marilyn Manson Absinthe
It appears goth rocker Marilyn Manson is hopping on the absinthe train, with a new label called "Mansinthe" scheduled to hit the European market in August. The distiller, Matter-Luginbuhl, is well-known for their high end absinthes, so we understand we can expect it to be quality stuff.
We're just hoping they're able to capture the flavor of creepy androgyny Manson represents to us. Anyway, two pre-release versions will be available this month for you to try out and possibly even give feedback before the final release next month. Read on for a snippet from the Absinthvertrieb Lion newsletter:
Marilyn Manson is pretty much known to be an Absinthe lover. Some years ago his management startet purchasing his Absinthe from Absinthe-Distribution. Eventually we met after a concert in Switzerland and had the idea developing a Manson Absinthe. Prototype 35 is the final version before the soon to come Mansinthe.
Absinthe lovers will like this easy to drink Absinthe made from fine herbs - just like Duplais or Brevans. It is naturally colored and obviously not sugared.
Your feedback is highly welcome and may take influence on the final release.
Check out the Absinthvertrieb Lion pages for
Prototype 35 and
Mansinthe; you can also go to
Mansinthe.com, but it's really only helpful if you read German. Which we don't. Actually, we're not even positive it's German. We'll shut up now.
