Bing Bong Portable Beer Pong Table

Bing Bong Portable Beer PongOne problem we've always had with beer pong (or Beirut, as some call it) is that it's hard to find a good place to play. Outside of frat houses and the Liquor Snob offices, there are very few places with a ping pong table available for use, and even fewer places that will let you spill beer all over them. Trying to build a table never works either, because you never think of it until you're already half in the bag, and it never comes out level or playable, if you ever get anything put together at all.

The Bing Bong portable beer pong table seems to be the solution to all our problems. It's a lightweight aluminum folding table that weighs 20 pounds and wraps up into its own carrying case. It's got extendable, locking legs, and it looks sturdy enough to handle even the roughest bumping from a drunken competitor. Plus, the Bing Bong table offers a waterproof surface to avoid damage from spills (not that those ever happen in beer pong), and you can check out their printable PDF of suggested rules, so you'll never have to argue about what happens to the losing team.

It retails for $149, which is a great deal, especially if you play a lot or can get a couple people to chip in. Learn more and get your own at the Bing Bong Tables site.

Wow, this is an oldie but a goodie! This must have been one of the first ever portable beer pong tables. Now everyone has em! :)

And inflatable ones, and glow in the dark ones, and ones that clean your balls automatically... :)

Crazy stuff this beer pong world is!

Hello from Beer Pong One. (www.beerpongone.com) As far as beer pong tables go, I need to let everyone in on a history lesson. Bing Bong Tables was THEE original portable beer pong table, and was the table of choice by the world series of beer pong. World Series of Beer Pong 1, 2, and I believe 3 are Bing Bong Tables with a WSOBP Sticker on them. Nothing more nothing less. Since then I believe they private labled their own table but is still the exact same table as a bing bong table, and made in the same plant.

As far as every other table company out there, they all have the same tables or similar. The fact is, all of them copied Bing Bong Tables for their design. So all in all I do not see what the fuss is all about. A beer pong table is a beer pong table. All it needs to do is stand up and hold cups and be 8ft long (since a piece of wood that all us old timers played on was 8ft long also) We are not around to say this table is better than that table, but since we are old school over here at Beer Pong One we use the original tables and not because they are better, but because they were the inventor of the modern table.

We do support all Beer Pong companies, and appreciate what they are doing for the sport. Here at Beer Pong One we wish that all beer pong companies would get together as a union. Instead of fighting over who has a better product, I feel bing bong, pong a long, bj's, bpong, and all the other companies should get together with a huge tournament with all the brands present. Whoever has home team advantage or better ranking in the tournament should be able to pick what kind of table and what kind of balls they play with.

This is our vision at www.beerpongone.com Beer Pong Unity with all companies present and represented at every big event. This will equal to more events, bigger prizes, sponsorships, and even more sales for the beer pong product retailers. This way everyone wins.

If retailers want their tables or products to be in the spot light they should sponsor a team to play in their name and use their products. I feel the whole beer pong world can agree with that and would love to be sponsored by one of these companies!!! Everyone has a great product and is doing great things for the sport and every company needs equal support for doing so.

Thank you,

Eric Preite
Beer Pong One

Note, anyone that has beer pong events can post them free on our site, and any beer pong players or teams can go to our site and see where beer pong tournaments are in your area.

It is nice to see all of the comments that this review spawned... and as of this posting it has been 3 years exactly since this review.

In that time, Bing Bong has upgraded the table numerous times and now has a professional distribution facility which greatly improves customer service. Bing Bong invented the professional portable beer pong table and therefore had to go through several design phases on the way to getting it right.

We appreciate the support we've received from our thousands of customers and we couldn't have achieved this level of success without their support, especially the large number of repeat customers who stuck with us through the challenges during our early stages.

Hey Liquor Snob - how about we send you a new model to review?

And for everyone who read this far down the post... you deserve a little something - here's a $15 discount on any of our 8ft tables, just type the coupon code LIQUORSNOB in our store and you'll immediately get $15 off of your order.

Contact Himself@BingBongTables.com with any questions. Thanks!

The Kingpong tables look cool, but they don't fold up small enough.

Posted by: NothingButCup at May 13, 2008 5:25 PM

Check out King Pong Custom Beer Pong tables. By far the best quality of all the tables on the market (the only plastic table vs. all of the aluminum p.o.s. tables out there that are all identical). Also, King Pong allows you to customize your own table for just a little bit more than what the others cost. Customer service was spectacular. www.kingpong.com, well worth the small amount of extra money!!

We have the best beer pong tables on the planet. Lightweight, affordable, and easy on the eyes.

Pong A Long is the shit. just got mine in this year its their newest 8ft quad folder. I live in Michigan and they've got a dude that promotes at local bars here. He gave me a promo code to use on their site to save an extra $5 off my table which actually was nice b/c shipping can be a deal breaker for me most of the time. I love my table I bring it to the beach all the time and to any party for sure

oh and if you wanna use the code the dude gave me its: MI-PONG enter it in during the online check out when prompted. I think its on the 3rd step of the check out.

anyways i love my pong a long and won't consider any of the other places online they are way too expencive and I hate the grapics.

hope that helps ppl looking for a table.

We got a Bing Bong table for our apartment and the thing was a total piece of shit. The 'ball holder' couldn't even hold ping pong balls without falling off. The graphic quickly chipped off the surface and as soon as it got wet the edges swelled up and the metal burst off. What a waste of money, at least if we went with one of the cheaper options (like pong a long or bj's) we could have gotten two for the same price as one bing bong. Plus bing bong has the worst customer service on the planet. Don't even consider them.

I'm torn between the Bing Bong table and BJ's beer pong table...Which one would you guys recommend for the money?? Bing Bong is smaller, lighter, and a little cheaper...BJ's is a foot wider, has the raised grip surface for the cups, and heard it's a little sturdier...So which one is better overall? Customization is not an issue.

I bought a Pong-A-long table for my boyfriend, and it sucked. It was flimsy and broke the first time we used it. Plus everyone complained that it was not'regulation.' We were better off using the unhinged door. My friend bought a Bing Bong table and I wish I would have bought that one instead, too. It was more expensive, but totally worth it because it actually worked! Now we just borrow her BingBong table for parties. (ps- all of the bars around us use the BingBong table at their tournaments which I thought was pretty cool!) My vote is for BingBong, otherwise you'll waste your money and be pissed like me.

Pong-a-long is a plain folding table...whoopee! Not really the portable solution...and its only 7ft...Bing Bong is 8ft

Bing Bong Tables are totally lame. Get a Pong A Long [www.pongalong.com] for the same price as shipping on a bingbong. Pong A Long tables can be customized due to their unobstructive design also which makes them even better.

In response to Matt,

Did you know that the legs extend? There is a little metal button on each side. If it is still too short, you can always set it on something else.

Posted by: tom at October 30, 2005 9:48 PM

The table is a good idea, but this one is way too short height wise. It only comes just above your knees! It is also flimsy and cheap feeling which is unfortunate because it is so expensive ($150). Also because of the height people can lean over to the other cups making it too easy. Ultimately i wish i went with a sturdier one.

Beirut for the win! This table is a FANTASTIC idea, although it will never top the home-made one left in my sorority house.
